Socrates

Socrates a man who was a philosopher was born on 470 BCE. His place of birth was in Alopece, the city of athens. 

 

Socrate was famous for being The “Father of Western Philosophy” in the reason of his contributions to the making of ancient greek philosophy which provided the core of all of Western Philosophy. He is also known as one of the most famous figures in the history of earth.

 

The death of Socrates 399 BCE took place in Athenian Court. He was executed by being poisoned forcefully because of charges of impiety and corrupting the youth. 

 

Socrates most famous quote.. “The only true wisdom is in knowing you know nothing.” means the only person who thinks he knows nothing will try to achieve knowledge from anyone and everyone he comes across in life then that person might become a king or a beggar. Another one of his famous quotes is “To find yourself, think of yourself.” This means make your own opinions and decisions, Don’t let anyone else decide for you.
